Coaching  •  Business Consulting  •  Training

I am a Certified Power Coach®; Group Power Coach®; accountant; certified income tax consultant, business start-up consultant, tutor in MYOB and Simply Accounting software programs (American and Canadian versions).

I have been in the corporate and entrepreneurial world since 1974. I have owned and operated a successful business service company since 1988. Prior to that, I worked in downtown Vancouver in senior management; accounting and senior secretarial positions. I always found it easy to enjoy the presence of people. We have so much to learn and share with each other.

I have also had the opportunities of being a deckhand on a commercial fishing boat netting salmon enjoying the scenery and working from Vancouver to Alaska; home care aid to the elderly; volunteer computer teacher for elementary grades and editor of the community newspaper.

Due to a car accident in 2002 my Business Start-up Clinic that I was about to open, took a turn of events. The doctor’s reports said that I had back damage and that the lengthy sitting needed for my practice was the main cause of pain.

Time to change careers but I wonder what ….reading a newspaper shortly after, an article jumped out about something called "Power Coaching®". What perfect timing! I thought I would take a few sessions myself for positive ness and clarity needed for my career change. (Not knowing this was my career change!)

I am now on my Level III (IV is the maximum) in Power Coaching® and am enjoying this golden opportunity so much that I have closed down my business service company except the consulting practice to be able to share my knowledge with others in need and to accommodate the growth of my new business.

I have taken an extensive training and a rigorous examination process from Coaching and Leadership International to ensure that I am highly competent. For more details please visit their website: www.coachingandleadership.com.

This is my third year my coaching practice has been open. I have coached persons from ages 10 to 80 and a wide variety of people in all walks of life; children; teens; moms; dads; entrepreneurs; senior executives; managers; sales staff; professionals; massage therapists; registered nurse; appraisers; construction foremen; to name a few.

One of my greatest passions has always been children and teens. They are our future! We were the "Safe House" for children in our neighborhood when they felt uncomfortable with their home life. Adults also were welcome, if they were a bit down on the times.

Another passion of mine is the study of human behavior. I have taken courses in Psychology and Sociology at Langara College in Vancouver BC.

For the past 15 years, my family and I have anonymously donated to our community. We have purchased books and teaching tools for school libraries, food and clothing for schools for under privileged children, clothing and household goods for the homeless, fire victims, and abused victims.

My favorite things in life are being with my wonderful daughter, husband and dogs/cat/birds. I love cooking and hosting dinner parties for my friends and family and opening doors to new friends. I feel I am a very fortunate person and would like to give back to society some of the wonderful things that have come to me in my life’s journey. I am a student and teacher of positive thinking and always try and show kindness towards others and one's self.

My Balances: Laughter of all sorts! I love gardening, animals, swimming, camping, fishing, reading self-development books, being a good listener, good friend, wife and mother.
